Behaviour of ferritic-martensitic steels (Fe(Cr) and ODS) under ion irradiation and gas presence

Ferritic-martensitic steels are excellent potential candidates for Generation IV fission and fusion reactors. The understanding of elementary radiation damage mechanisms (primary dislocation loops, role of alloying elements) is essential. The JANNuS facility has been used to understand the behaviour of ferritic-martensitic steels under irradiation and gas (helium, hydrogen) presence.
